Both graphic novels standalone just fine. I'd rec this series for readers that are worried about older siblings, readers who like 70's pop culture (we had Brady Brunch, Gilligan's Island, frozen dinners and pet rocks in here just off the top of my head) and readers who like big, colorful, engaging panels.Įven though this is #2, you don't necessarily need to read these books in any order. But she realizes that is not possible and gets some words of wisdom from her grandpa and mom regarding her brothers, scenes that really make the novel (I liked the scene with her and her mother just bawling together). Sunny frets, worries and wishes (like the shots she gets for her allergies) that her brother could get a shot to make him all better.
